Once you have changed into your sushi uniform, the experience kicks off with the sake barrel opening. Raise your glass together with a shout of "Yoisho!" It is a great icebreaker with the other guests.

Sake is all-you-can-drink during the class. If you don't drink alcohol, you can toast with green tea or water. Whether you are travelling solo or with family or friends, this is where you all head into sushi making together.

Next, Prepare the Sushi Rice in a Wooden Tub

Sushi making begins with mixing the rice and seasoning it to make sushi rice. Your instructor will show you how to use the rice paddle and how to handle the rice.

The seats and tables are low, so children can join in alongside their parents. Babies and toddlers can stay next to a parent or on their lap.
